Cats groom constantly, so a coat that's dry or shedding more than usual tends to get noticed fast — often before an owner's worked out why. Yowup's cat version of their Salmon Skin & Hair yoghurt is sized specifically for a cat's smaller daily dose rather than being the dog pot with a different label.

It's the same 90% natural low-fat yoghurt with prebiotics, 3% fresh salmon for Omega-3, turmeric, collagen and vitamin E, in an 85g pot rather than the dog range's 115g. Yowup's daily dose guide runs from 40g for a cat of 1-3kg up to 115g for a cat over 6kg.

• 90% natural low-fat yoghurt with prebiotics
• 3% fresh salmon (source of Omega-3)
• Contains turmeric, collagen and vitamin E
• Crude protein 4%, fat 1.7%
• 85G pot, sized for cats
• Daily dose: 40-115g depending on cat's weight

One thing worth knowing. Like the dog version, this is a topper rather than a meal — the low protein and fat figures reflect a yoghurt base, not a food replacement, so it goes alongside your cat's normal diet rather than instead of part of it.

Who it's for: owners of a cat whose coat could use some extra support, who want a cat-sized dose rather than guessing at a smaller portion of the dog product.
