Full description

Kitten treats need a firm place beside the main meal rather than becoming an extra meal of their own. WHISKAS gives a daily ceiling and tells owners to reduce the regular food accordingly.

WHISKAS Kitten Milky Treats Chicken come in a 50G pack. Cereals and vegetable derivatives lead the composition, followed by oils and fats and meat and animal derivatives, including chicken at 4%. Dried milk powder is 1.9%, equivalent to milk at 14%. The analysis declares protein 22%, fat 22%, inorganic matter 8%, crude fibre 2% and energy 411 kcal/100G.

Treats must displace other food. WHISKAS says to feed up to 15 pieces per day, reduce the main meal accordingly and keep fresh drinking water available. These are counted as individual treat pieces, so they should be included within the day's food rather than treated as a separate wet meal.

Who it's for: kitten owners seeking small chicken-and-milk treats with a stated daily limit and who will account for those pieces within the kitten’s overall food.

Why we chose it

The milk declaration is precise: 1.9% dried milk powder, equivalent to 14% milk. I chose it because the daily piece limit and main-meal adjustment are equally clear.
