A cat asleep in the open sleeps lightly. Give the same cat three walls and a roof and they drop into a proper deep sleep, which is the whole argument for a hooded bed over a flat cushion. This one is shaped like a small snow cottage with an arched doorway, so it reads as an object somebody chose rather than a beige blob parked in the corner of the sitting room.
