Full description
Cats change their minds about how they want to sleep, sometimes several times in a day: buried and invisible in the morning, sprawled and lordly by the afternoon. Buying two beds to cover both moods is one answer. Folding a single bed into either shape is a better one, and that is what this is for. Rolled up it becomes an enclosed cave; opened out it turns into a deep-walled nest.
The material is a dense velvet over a PP cotton fill, and the density is the point rather than the softness. Thick sides hold their shape when folded into a dome instead of sagging shut on the cat inside, and they trap body heat rather than letting it disappear into a cold room. Opened out, those same walls become a rim high enough to rest a head on, which is how most cats prefer to sleep anyway.
