A parrot native to South America doesn't eat the same wild diet as an African or Australian species, which is the reasoning behind Vitakraft building separate regional blends rather than one generic parrot mix for every bird.

This blend includes cereals, seeds and fruits such as dried banana at 3.8%, dried physalis (cape gooseberry) at 1.5% and mango at 1%, alongside oyster grit at 3% and dried paprika at 1%. A full trace element and vitamin panel is added per kilogram, including vitamin A, D3, selenium, iodine, zinc, manganese and copper. Vitakraft's feeding guide is one to two tablespoons per bird per day, and it's formulated for South American parrots.
