Full description
A long-bodied toy changes how a dog plays with it. The shark shape gives something to grab at one end and shake, and shaking puts far more strain on a seam than carrying does. Seams are exactly where Tuffy have put their engineering, running several rows of stitching through protective webbing so the joins take the load rather than the fabric between them.
Underneath the outer fabric sit multiple bonded layers, so a puncture in the top skin does not open the toy up. It floats, which suits it to river and beach retrieves as much as the living room floor, and it goes in the machine when it comes back filthy. Air dry rather than tumble dry, since heat does more damage to a layered, bonded build than any wash cycle will.
