Long, flat toys with wings get played with differently from balls. A dog grabs a dragonfly by the body and the wings flap about as they shake it, and that is the movement that keeps a dog interested, because the toy does something back rather than lying there. This one is wide across the wings and tall from head to tail, at 32cm by 24.9cm, and only 5.6cm deep.

The build is standard Tuffy underneath the shape. Layers of material are bonded together, there are several rows of stitching per seam rather than one, and webbing runs over the seams so the stress goes into the webbing instead of the thread. That is what allows the wings to survive being shaken, since thin protruding parts are exactly where an ordinary plush toy fails first. Being shallow, it is also an easy shape to grab and to throw with a flat spin.

One thing worth knowing. Its weight is given as 141g in one place and 172.37g in another, and we have not been able to reconcile the two, so we would rather tell you that than quietly pick whichever we prefer. The dimensions are consistent across both listings.
