Full description

Fetch on grass is straightforward; fetch near water usually ends with somebody wading. A foam ring changes that calculation, because it floats. Throw it into a lake or a slow river and it sits on the surface waiting to be collected, and the same low density makes it bounce off in unpredictable directions on hard ground for a dog who likes a target that will not behave.

It is moulded from TPR foam, a rubbery material that gives under a bite rather than resisting it, so a determined dog can grip and pull without the toy going hard against the teeth. The surface is textured for grip, yours as much as the dog's, which matters in a tug game with wet hands. At around 185mm across, it is a big enough hoop for a whole jaw or a hand to pass through.
