Product description
The same goats' milk base as the plain carton, with chamomile, honey and barley malt extract added, sold as a wind down drink for the end of the day. It can be given straight from the carton or gently warmed, which is how most people who use it end up using it, and the brand positions it as something that becomes part of a routine rather than a one off.
The composition is four things long: goats' milk, honey, barley malt extract, chamomile. There are no artificial ingredients, colours, flavours or preservatives, and the carton is Vegetarian Society Approved. It is for dogs aged 12 months and over, and like the rest of the range it is a treat rather than part of a meal.
- 200ml carton
- Goats' milk, honey, barley malt extract, chamomile
- For dogs aged 12 months and over
- A complementary treat, not a meal
- Vegetarian Society Approved
The published analysis for this one does not add up, so we are not printing it. The figures in circulation for the analytical constituents come to well over a hundred percent between them, which is what a lost decimal point looks like rather than a real result. We would rather leave the panel off the page than repeat a number that cannot be true. The composition, the feeding guidance and the rest of the label are solid, and the panel goes up the day we can read it off a carton ourselves.
Who it's for: Dogs over a year old who take a while to settle, and households who want a small evening ritual that is not another biscuit. It is a milk drink with chamomile in it, so treat it as a routine rather than as a remedy.
Why we chose it
Half the evening routines people invent for a dog involve another biscuit, and this is a four ingredient alternative that does not. We also like that the brand has kept the recipe short instead of stacking it with calming extras, and we would rather explain the broken panel on the page than pretend it is not there.

Common questions
Will it actually make my dog sleep?
It is a milk drink with chamomile, honey and barley malt extract in it. The brand positions it as calming and as part of a bedtime routine, and nothing on the label makes a treatment claim. Neither do we. If your dog is genuinely anxious, that is a conversation with your vet.
How is it different from the plain dog milk?
Different recipe. The plain carton is goats' milk with inulin, green tea extract, glucosamine and chondroitin. This one is goats' milk with honey, barley malt extract and chamomile, and none of the joint extras.
Why is there no analytical constituents panel on this page?
Because the figures published for it are impossible. They add up to well over a hundred percent, which means a decimal point has been lost somewhere upstream. We will not print a number we know is wrong, and we will not quietly correct one either. We will put it up when we can read it off a carton.
There is honey in it. Is that a problem?
Honey is the second ingredient, so this is a sweeter drink than the plain milk. It is worth knowing about for a dog whose sugar intake is being watched, and it is another reason to treat it as an occasional ritual rather than a daily pour.
Can a puppy have it?
No. It is for dogs aged 12 months and over, and the brand is specific that the chamomile and honey are aimed at dogs over that age. There is a separate puppy milk in the range.
Can it be warmed?
Yes, that is how the brand suggests it. Straight from the carton or gently warmed, whichever your dog prefers.
