A dog left alone with a chew for the afternoon needs one that outlasts the boredom, not just the packaging it came in.

This is a real bone — British beef bone — filled with a chicken-flavoured biscuit filling, built as a long chew rather than a quick treat. It runs high in ash at 63.5%, which comes with the territory of a treat built around bone rather than meat, alongside 22.2% protein and 6.8% oil. It is sold individually: the price shown is for one filled bone.

• British beef bone with a chicken-flavoured biscuit filling
• Protein 22.2%, oil 6.8%, crude fibre 5.1%, crude ash 63.5%
• Composition includes maize, flour and food dye alongside the bone and biscuit filling
• Sold individually: one filled bone per item
• Always supervise dogs when feeding, and provide fresh water

What's actually in the mix. T. Forrest describe this as "100% natural ingredients and no hidden nasties" and grain free — neither claim survives a look at the composition, which lists maize and flour (both grains) and a food dye. It's still a real beef bone with a genuine chicken filling, just not the grain-free, dye-free product the marketing implies, and a previous listing calling it grain-free was wrong.

Who it's for: owners of a confident chewer who wants a long-lasting bone chew, and who isn't specifically shopping grain-free or additive-free — the composition rules both out.
