The plainest-sounding option in a filled-bone range is often the one that suits the most dogs, precisely because it isn't chasing a particular flavour fan.

This T. Forrest bone is made from British beef marrow bone, meat and animal derivatives, cereals and tallow, and this product specifically does contain chicken. The analytical constituents are 22.2% crude protein, 6.8% crude oil and fat, 5.1% crude fibre and 63.5% crude ash. T. Forrest's guidance is no more than one per day, suitable for puppies over 4 months and all breeds and sizes.

What the label does not say. The pack carries a "Grain Free" flash, but the ingredients list includes cereals, so it is not actually grain free despite that flash — worth flagging plainly rather than repeating the claim. The high ash figure is typical of a bone-based chew rather than a fault on the panel.

Who it's for: owners who want a plain meat-filled option rather than a specific flavour, though worth checking the chicken content against any known sensitivity first.
