Full description
A dog with an upset stomach usually needs something simple rather than a change of diet altogether, and pumpkin has long been the kitchen-cupboard answer to that — this is the same idea, dried into a powder and dosed rather than guessed at from a tin.
The recipe is pumpkin flesh powder at its base, with yeast products supplying mannan-oligosaccharides, beta-glucans and postbiotics, plus fructo-oligosaccharides and chicory root (inulin). It's dosed by dog weight, from half a tablespoon for a small dog up to two tablespoons for an extra-large one.
- Pumpkin Flesh Powder as the primary ingredient
- Crude protein 7.6%, crude oils 2.2%, crude fibre 12.9%, crude ash 6%
- Yeast products (MOS, beta-glucans, postbiotics) and FOS included for gut flora support
- Dosed by weight: 1/2 tbsp (up to 12kg) to 2 tbsp (36kg+)
- 250G tub
What the label does not say. This is described as a digest aid for times of upset or as a general supplement, but no guidance is given here on how long to use it for a genuine upset before seeing a vet — a dog with ongoing or worsening digestive symptoms needs veterinary attention rather than an extended course of any supplement.
Who it's for: owners looking for a simple, measured pumpkin-based supplement to have on hand for the occasional upset stomach, or as a regular fibre addition to a dog's diet.

Why we chose it
Dosing by weight with a tablespoon measure is a lot easier to get right than guessing a spoonful from a tin of plain pumpkin, and the added yeast products and FOS give it more going on than pumpkin alone. It's a sensible, low-cost thing to keep in the cupboard rather than something you only think of once a problem has already started.
