What the label does not say. Supernature publish no ingredient list to us at all. 'Vitamins, minerals and amino acids' names a category, not a composition, and no daily amount reaches us either, so you will be working from whatever is printed on the tub in front of you. Their own copy also says it is approved by vets without naming who, which is worth reading as marketing rather than evidence. And no powder takes off tartar that has already set hard on a tooth: that is a scale and polish under anaesthetic, and a dog with red gums or a tooth gone brown needs your vet rather than a supplement.

Who it's for: owners of a dog who will not tolerate a toothbrush and who would rather do something small every day than nothing at all, and anyone looking for a dental habit that adds nothing to the walk and nothing to the treat jar.
