Full description
Thirty-five grams clipped to a collar ring, and a driver picks you out from the far end of a lane. This one is lit on both faces of a U-shaped body, which means it shows to the traffic coming towards you and to the car overtaking from behind at the same moment. A flat, single-sided tag light does only half of that, and the half it misses is the one that overtakes you.
The housing is high-strength ABS with an IPX8 water rating and a stated working range from minus forty to fifty degrees, so rain, hard frost and being dropped on a gravel path are all comfortably within tolerance. There are four modes: constant, fast flash, colour flash and a slow colour flash. Constant is the one for roads, where a driver needs to judge how far away you are, and the flashing modes are for open ground.
