Full description

Cats sleep better with something contained around them, and a sling does that in a way a flat cushion never manages. The fabric curves up at the sides under their weight, so they are held rather than simply lying on top of something. This one sits in an arched wooden frame that lifts the sleeping surface clear of a cold floor and, unlike almost every other cat bed, looks like a small piece of furniture instead of pet equipment.

The frame is solid wood with a canvas sling stretched between the arches. The cloth cover measures 54cm by 34cm, the whole thing stands 55cm long, 41cm wide and 22cm high, and it weighs 826g assembled. There is a choice of a plain canvas cover or a plush one for colder months. It comes apart for flat storage, and the cover lifts off the frame, which is the only sensible arrangement for a bed that will collect fur.
