A good bed lets your pet stretch out and curl up. Measure your pet nose-to-tail while they’re lying down, then add room to move.
How to measure
- Measure your pet from nose to base of tail while lying relaxed.
- Add roughly 15–25 cm so they can stretch out fully.
- For pets that like to curl, you can size down slightly for a snug, den-like feel.
| Size | Typical internal length | Rough guide |
|---|---|---|
| S | up to ~50 cm | Cats, toy & small breeds |
| M | ~50–70 cm | Small–medium dogs |
| L | ~70–90 cm | Medium–large dogs |
| XL | 90 cm + | Large & giant breeds |

Full description
Cats sleep somewhere off the floor whenever they are given the option. It is warmer, it is out of the draught, and it lets them keep an eye on the door. The bed on this tree is raised on sisal-wrapped legs for exactly that reason, which is what turns a scratching post into somewhere a cat will genuinely spend the afternoon rather than visiting twice a day and wandering off.
The legs are wrapped in sisal with ball detailing, so the structure holding the bed up is also the scratching surface. That is a sensible use of a small frame, and it means a cat scratching on waking does not have to go anywhere else to do it. A pom toy hangs from a sisal post for the batting that tends to follow a nap, and the whole thing occupies about as much floor as a side table.
- Raised padded bed for lounging
- Sisal-wrapped legs with ball detailing for scratching
- Hanging pom toy on a sisal post
- Compact footprint for smaller rooms
- Combines scratching, play and sleeping in one frame
- Suits kittens and adult cats
No dimensions, and one limitation. It is also a low, single-level design, good for one cat who wants a scratch and a nap, and less so for a household of climbers who need height and several perches.
Who it's for: Owners of one cat, in a smaller home, who want a raised bed and a scratching surface without a full tower.

Why we chose it
