Full description
Some cats want to chase a toy and others want to sit still and destroy one with their claws, and a dangler made of feathers and leather strips is built for the second kind.
Feath 'R' Leather is a cord with feathers and strips of soft leather attached, from Sharples Pet's Ruff 'N' Tumble range. It's meant to be pulled, batted and chewed rather than chased across a floor.
- Feathers and strips of soft leather on a cord
- Designed for clawing and chewing play
- Weighs 0.03kg
- Single toy per pack
On durability. A toy built from feathers and leather strips is not one built to survive prolonged chewing — Ruff 'N' Tumble don't publish a replacement guideline, but leather that's been chewed through should be retired rather than left down once pieces start coming away.
Who it's for: cats that like to claw and chew rather than chase, and owners happy to supervise a toy made from materials a determined cat can work loose.

Why we chose it
Leather and feathers give a cat something genuinely different to claw at compared to the plush and fabric toys that make up most of the range. At 0.03kg it's light and cheap to post, which keeps the price down.
