Product description
A small pouch moulded from soft, high grade silicone, with a magnetic opening and a clip. It is designed to hang off a belt loop, a lead, a bag strap or a buggy handle while you train, so a treat is one hand away rather than in a pocket you have to unzip.
The magnetic mouth is the part that decides whether a treat bag is any good. It snaps shut on its own so treats stay in when you bend over, and it opens against a thumb without looking, which matters when your other hand has the lead and the dog is already sitting. Being silicone rather than fabric, it wipes clean, which is the practical argument against every cloth treat pouch that has ever held liver.
- Soft high grade silicone throughout
- Magnetic opening that closes itself
- Clip attaches to a belt, lead, strap or buggy
- Wipes out, so oily and semi-moist treats are not a problem
Silicone is easy to clean and it is not rigid. The pouch flexes against your hip and it will not hold its shape like a stiff fabric bag with a hinged frame, so very small kibble can shift around and a big handful is a squeeze. It is sized for a training session, not for a day's food.
Who it's for: anyone doing short, frequent training sessions who is tired of greasy pockets, and anyone whose current treat bag is a cloth one they have stopped washing. Not the right choice if you want to carry a large volume.
Why we chose it
We tried a lot of treat bags and the ones that get used are the ones you can open with one thumb. The magnet does that, and silicone means you can put sardine cubes in it without ruining it. It is small on purpose, and we would rather sell an honest pouch than a bag pretending to be a rucksack.

Common questions
How does it attach?
By a clip, which Rosewood describe as fitting most objects: belt loops, a lead, a bag strap or a pushchair handle.
Will treats fall out?
The opening is magnetic and pulls itself closed, so it stays shut when you bend or run. It is not a sealed container, so we would not turn it upside down in a rucksack.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
Rosewood do not state a dishwasher rating, so we would not claim one. Silicone wipes and rinses easily, which is the reason to buy it.
Is it big enough for a full training class?
It is a compact pouch made for portability rather than volume. For an hour's class we would take a refill in a pocket.
Does it hold wet or oily treats?
Better than fabric does, because there is nothing for the oil to soak into. Rinse it the same day and it does not hold a smell.
