A training treat that's the wrong size for the dog either gets swallowed whole without registering as a reward, or takes so long to eat that the moment it was meant to reinforce has already passed.

This jerky is 90% fresh beef, alongside glycerine of vegetable origin, cranberries (3%), pea flour, apple, rosemary (0.2%) and sodium chloride. Crude protein comes out at 31%, crude fat at 22.5%, crude fibre at 8.0%, crude ash at 5.5% and moisture at 18%, at 4,055 kcal per kg. Pooch & Mutt scale the daily amount by the dog's size, from 3-5 treats a day for a toy breed up to 18 or more for a giant breed.
