Full description

A single-ingredient chew has nowhere to hide a filler, which is either reassuring or limiting depending on what you're looking for.

These are hand-rolled cod skin chews made from 100% cod skin — nothing else added. They analyse at 83.8% protein, 2.2% fat, 0.2% crude fibre, 9.3% ash, 23.5% omega-3 and 6.5% omega-6, at 328 kcal/kg, and are suitable for all ages from 6 months old.

100% cod skin, single ingredient
Protein 83.8%, fat 2.2%, crude fibre 0.2%, ash 9.3%
Omega-3 at 23.5%, omega-6 at 6.5%
328 kcal/kg
Grain free and chicken free
Suitable from 6 months old

On what's not added. Unlike the Calming version in the same range, this one has no chamomile, lavender or anything else mixed in — 100% cod skin is the whole recipe, so choose this over the Calming chews specifically if you want nothing but the fish, and the other if you want the added herbs.

Who it's for: owners of dogs over 6 months who want the simplest possible ingredient list on a long-lasting chew, with nothing added beyond the fish itself.

Why we chose it

83.8% protein from a single ingredient is about as clean a chew as this category gets, and nothing else added is a genuine selling point for owners avoiding extra ingredients rather than a gap in the recipe. It's grain free and chicken free without having to check twice.
