Removing almost all the moisture from a piece of meat concentrates everything else that's in it — protein, fat, everything — into a smaller, lighter piece.

This is freeze-dried chicken at 96%, with a small amount of lignocellulose, pea protein and psyllium husk, plus a live bacterial strain, Limosilactobacillus reuteri, at 5x10^9 CFU/kg. Moisture is down to 4%, which is why the fat and protein figures read so high.

• Chicken 96%, with lignocellulose, pea protein and psyllium husk
• Protein 37%, Fat 48.8%
• Moisture 4%, Fibre 7.7%, Ash 4%
• Calcium 0.6%, Phosphorus 0.5%, Sodium 0.25%
• Contains Limosilactobacillus reuteri at 5x10^9 CFU/kg
• Metabolisable energy of 5,440 kcal/kg

On calorie density. At 48.8%, this is a high-fat product by weight, which is normal for a freeze-dried meat with only 4% moisture left in it, but it means a small handful goes further calorically than a fresh or wet treat of the same size. It's a complementary feed, not a complete food, so it's meant as a topper or treat rather than the whole meal.

Who it's for: owners wanting to add fresh-tasting chicken to a meal or a treat rotation, in a small 60G size to start with.
