Read beyond the name. Salmon appears as a flavouring, so use the composition above for the actual recipe, including cereals, animal derivatives and flavourings. The manufacturer's daily quantities by dog size are: small (4 - 11 kg) 5, medium (12 - 20 kg) 12, large (21 - 35 kg) 20 and very large (35+ kg) 28. Individual needs vary with breed, activity and environmental temperature, so adjust amounts where necessary to maintain a lean, healthy body weight. Feed as part of a nutritionally complete diet, and make sure there is plenty of clean, fresh water available.

Who it's for: Dog owners who want this 400g treat and would like the composition, analysis and complementary status clear before deciding whether it fits their dog's treat routine.

Why we chose it

The deciding point is that Pointer Salmon Burger has enough label detail for a buyer to compare the recipe rather than rely on the flavour. I would put the composition and complementary status ahead of the marketing.
