Full description

Peanut-butter flavour and peanut butter are not the same ingredient, which makes the wording on these small bones especially important.

Pointer Peanut Butter Small Bite Bones come in retail and bulk pack sizes. The lead 400G pack contains cereals, oils and fats and carob, with peanut butter flavouring at 0.3%; the maker explicitly says the recipe does not include peanut butter. The lead analysis states protein 10%, fibre 3%, fat 6% and ash 2.5%.

Flavouring is the key word. Despite the product name, the maker says these use natural peanut butter flavouring and do not include peanut butter. The bulk sibling also carries a different ash figure from the 400G pack, so analysis should be checked against the selected size rather than carried across the family. No feeding amount is supplied.

Who it's for: owners looking for small bite biscuit bones with peanut-butter flavour, who understand that the recipe contains flavouring rather than peanut butter and will check pack-specific analysis.
