Full description

A treat jar that runs out fast usually means buying more often than you'd like, which is the case for a lot of small treat bags but not for a 10kg box. Pointer's Gravy Bones are sized for exactly that — a treat you top up rather than one you're rationing.

The recipe is built from cereals, minerals and a small proportion of poultry meal (3%), with oils and fats and vegetable-origin derivatives making up the rest, plus added vitamins and trace minerals. It's a complementary food, meant as a treat and reward rather than a meal.

Cereals, minerals, 3% poultry meal
Protein 12%, fat content 8%, crude ash 4%, crude fibre 2%
Energy 392 kcal per 100g
Added vitamins A, D3, E and trace minerals
10KG box
Suitable for dogs from 12 weeks

On the meat content. The poultry meal in this recipe is 3% of the total — it's a genuinely small proportion, and the biscuit's bulk comes from cereals rather than meat. If you're after a high-meat treat specifically, this isn't it, though it's a perfectly ordinary composition for a traditional gravy bone biscuit.

Who it's for: owners who go through a lot of training or reward biscuits and want a large box rather than restocking small bags every few weeks.

Pointer Gravy Bones Chicken

Why we chose it

A 10kg box is simply the cheapest way per biscuit to keep a treat jar full. For a dog that gets rewarded often, that adds up faster than the price of a single bag suggests.
