Full description

Dogs do not ration treats themselves, which is why the size of the bag matters as much as what is in it. A box built for treating often, rather than occasionally, is really a different product from a small pouch, even when the biscuit inside is the same.

These are Pointer's oven-baked mini rolls, made from a mix of cereals, meat and animal derivatives, minerals, oils and fats and various sugars, coloured with sensory additive colourants. The nutritional additives include vitamin A, vitamin D3, vitamin E and trace minerals such as zinc, iron, copper, manganese, iodine and selenium, added at manufacture rather than left to the base ingredients.

Protein 14%, fat content 7%, crude fibre 2%, crude ash 12%
332 kcal per 100g
Suitable from 12 weeks of age
12.5kg box
Packaging is 100% recyclable

What the label does not say. Pointer do not break down which meat or animal derivatives are used, or in what proportion, so this is not a treat to reach for if you are trying to identify or avoid a specific protein source. It is priced and packed as a bulk training treat rather than a limited-ingredient one.

Who it's for: owners who get through treats quickly — multi-dog households, or anyone doing enough training or reward-based work that a small pouch never lasts the week.

Why we chose it

At 12.5kg this is one of the biggest treat boxes we stock, and buying by the box rather than the pouch is usually where the saving is on a treat used every day. It is also a plain biscuit-style bake rather than anything more elaborate, which keeps the price down.
