Almost nobody brushes a dog's teeth, so anything that gets chewed daily and does something about plaque along the way is doing a job that would otherwise not get done at all.

The base is dried potatoes and vegetable glycerin, built around a proprietary seaweed-derived ingredient the maker calls A.N ProDen, plus a run of vegetable additions — sweet potatoes, carrots, alfalfa, flaxseed and pumpkin — and a live bacterial culture, Bacillus coagulans, included at a stated minimum count.
