Almost nobody brushes a dog's teeth, so anything that gets chewed daily and does something about plaque along the way is doing a job that would otherwise not get done at all.

The base is dried potatoes and vegetable glycerin, built around a proprietary seaweed-derived ingredient the maker calls A.N ProDen, plus a run of vegetable additions — sweet potatoes, carrots, alfalfa, flaxseed and pumpkin — and a live bacterial culture, Bacillus coagulans, included at a stated minimum count.

• 20 bones per bag
• Crude protein (min) 6%, fat (min) 1%, fibre (max) 2.5%, moisture (max) 15%
• Omega 3 (min) 0.15%, Omega 6 (min) 0.03%
• Bacillus coagulans at a minimum of 0.5 billion CFU/kg
• 49 calories per bone
• Hypoallergenic and grain free

On dosing by weight. The maker's own guidance splits by size: one bone a day for dogs over 4.5kg, half a bone for toy dogs under that. There's no advice for dogs at the very top of the weight range, and no ingredient percentages beyond the analytical minimums and maximums, so you're trusting the overall recipe rather than reading exact quantities of any one ingredient.

Who it's for: owners looking for a daily dental chew that isn't a plain rawhide or biscuit, particularly for a toy or small dog where the half-bone dose matters.
