Full description
A dental product only does anything if it is given every single day, which quietly makes flavour a mechanical property rather than a marketing one. Peanut butter and banana is not on the front of this pack to appeal to you.
What makes PlaqueOff unusual is where it works. The active part is A.N ProDen, a 100% natural organic seaweed, and ProDen's account is that it works systemically - taken up through the bloodstream, reaching the saliva, and softening plaque and tartar from that side rather than scrubbing away at it. The shape of the bone then does the second half, with an abrasive action that helps scrape the softened deposits off. ProDen say results show over 3-8 weeks of daily use, and they put the same A.N ProDen into these that goes into their powder and their bites. Twenty to a pack.
- 20 mini dental bones per pack
- Contains A.N ProDen, a 100% natural organic seaweed
- ProDen describe it as working systemically, reaching the saliva
- Abrasive bone shape to help scrape away softened deposits
- Contains Omega 3 and 6
- Hypoallergenic and grain free
No composition and no analytical constituents have been supplied to us at all. On something eaten every day, that is a real gap - there is no ingredient list, no calorie figure, no protein or fat number and no daily quantity, so we cannot tell you how many bones a dog of a given size should have or how they fit into the rest of the day's food. All of it is on the pack, so read the pack. Two other things: ProDen's own timescale is 3-8 weeks of daily use before anything shows, so this is not a product that changes anything this week, and no chew deals with a dental problem that already exists. A broken tooth, a red gum line or breath that has genuinely turned needs a vet to look in there. The listing files this under a shared dog-and-cat dental heading, but every line of ProDen's own copy for these bones is about dogs.
Who it's for: owners of a dog whose teeth are still in reasonable shape, who want a daily routine that is realistic rather than one that involves a toothbrush and an argument.

Common questions
How many bones are in a pack?
20 mini bones.
How is it supposed to work?
Two ways at once, according to ProDen. The A.N ProDen seaweed works systemically, reaching the saliva and softening plaque and tartar, and the shape of the bone gives an abrasive action that helps scrape the softened deposits away.
How long before it does anything?
ProDen's own figure is 3-8 weeks of daily use.
What is in them?
We cannot give you a full ingredient list, because none has been supplied to us. ProDen name the active ingredient as A.N ProDen, a 100% natural organic seaweed, say the bones contain Omega 3 and 6, and list them as hypoallergenic and grain free.
Does this replace brushing?
Nothing supplied to us says so, and we are not going to claim it. If your dog has a broken tooth, sore gums or breath that has changed, that is a vet visit rather than a chew.
How long does delivery take?
Your estimated delivery date is shown above and updates automatically. UK orders are sent tracked — standard delivery is £2.99, and free on orders over £39.

Why we chose it
Twenty bones is the pack size that actually gets a dog through the first stretch, which matters when ProDen's own figure is 3-8 weeks of daily use before anything shows. Peanut butter and banana is the flavour least likely to be turned down, and a dental chew that gets refused is money sitting on a shelf. It is hypoallergenic and grain free too, which widens who can have one.
