Specifications

Brand: Petkin

Full description

Brushing a dog's teeth is one of those jobs that sounds simple and rarely happens daily in practice, which is exactly the gap a gel applied straight onto the teeth is designed to fill.

Petkin's Plaque Teeth Gel is a spearmint-flavoured dental gel applied directly to the teeth, using baking soda to help brighten them while working on plaque and tartar. Sharples Pet are the sole UK distributor for Petkin. It comes in a 120ml bottle and Petkin say no brushing or rinsing is required.

120ml bottle
Spearmint flavour
Contains baking soda
Applied directly to the teeth, no brushing or rinsing needed
Aimed at plaque, tartar and breath freshness
Described as suitable for daily use

On what's not supplied. Petkin don't give us a full ingredient list or an amount to apply per use on this card, so follow the instructions printed on the bottle for how much to use and how often, and check with a vet before starting any dental product on a dog with existing gum disease or other oral health issues.

Who it's for: owners who want a no-brush option for daily dental care, or a top-up alongside brushing rather than a replacement for a vet dental check.
