Bad breath in a cat or dog is almost never only bad breath. It is usually plaque, and underneath the plaque there is gum inflammation, which is a genuine health problem rather than a cosmetic annoyance. A spray will not deal with the underlying cause, but it does give you something usable on the days when brushing does not happen, and in most households that is most days.

It goes on in one of two ways: misted directly into the mouth if your pet permits it, or onto food if it does not, which is the version that tends to work for cats and for dogs who object to having their lips lifted. Either way it takes seconds, needs no brush, no restraint and no quiet build-up of dread beforehand, and it attaches easily to something you already do daily, so it actually gets used.

• 100ml oral spray for cats and dogs
• Mist into the mouth, or apply onto food
• Freshens breath and supports everyday oral care
• No brushing and no restraint required
• Fits into an existing feeding routine
• One bottle suits a multi-pet household

What a spray cannot do. It does not remove tartar that has already hardened, and it does not replace brushing or a veterinary scale and polish. If your pet's breath has changed suddenly, or there is drooling, pawing at the mouth or reluctance to chew, that is a vet appointment. Use this to slow things between proper dental care, not instead of it.

Who it's for: Owners of cats and dogs who will not tolerate a toothbrush, and anyone wanting a daily dental step that takes seconds.
