Full description
Most lick mats fail for the same reason: the dog simply picks the thing up and carries it off, and then you are chasing a peanut-butter-covered sheet of silicone around the kitchen. Fourteen suction cups on the underside deal with that. Pressed onto a tile, the side of a bath or a smooth wall, the mat stays where it is while the dog works at it, which is the entire point during a bath or a nail trim.
It is moulded in food-grade silicone in a bear shape, with the textured face holding wet food, yoghurt or soft paste in shallow grooves so it has to be licked out rather than scooped up in one go. The mat measures 200 x 180 x 7mm and weighs 113g. Silicone flexes, so cleaning is a matter of bending it under the tap rather than picking at corners, and it copes happily with a dishwasher.
