Carrying a cat in a shoulder bag is fine for the short walk to the car and miserable for anything longer, because the weight hangs off one side and the bag swings into the animal at every step. Putting the same bag on four wheels with a telescopic handle turns a carry into a pull, and being able to wear it as a backpack covers the stairs, kerbs and gravel where wheels stop being any help at all.

Mesh panels on more than one side keep air moving and let the pet see where they are going, which is a large part of why some animals travel so badly. A dark box amplifies every noise with nothing to explain it. Top and side openings mean you can load from whichever direction the pet will tolerate instead of posting them in through one hole, and the shell holds its shape so nothing presses in on them when the bag is set down.

On air travel and internal size. We hold no airline approval for this carrier and will not imply one, since cabin rules differ by airline and change without much notice, so check directly with whoever you are flying with before you rely on it. Internal dimensions have not been supplied either.

Who it's for: Owners of a cat or small dog facing regular vet trips, station platforms or long walks, who would rather pull the weight than carry it on one shoulder.
