An unrestrained dog in a car is a distraction on a good day and a hazard on a bad one, and the Highway Code is clear that dogs must be suitably restrained while you are driving. A loose dog also tends to pace from window to window, which winds them up and winds the driver up along with them. Giving them a defined place to be, anchored to the seat, quietly solves both of those problems at once.
The cover is quilted rather than plainly padded, which stops the filling migrating into one corner after a month of a dog turning circles in it, and the walls are bolstered so there is something to brace against on a roundabout. A tether is included and clips to the dog's harness. Every colourway is built to the same dimensions, so choosing between black, grey, brown and cream is purely a question of which shows less hair.
