Size guide & how to measure

Boots and paw protectors are sized by paw WIDTH — the widest part of the paw when your dog is standing and the paw is spread. Measure width first; any weights are only a rough guide.

How to measure

Stand your dog on a piece of paper so the paw spreads to its natural width.
Mark the widest points on each side and measure straight across, in cm.
Measure a front paw (usually a touch bigger than the back). If between sizes, size up.

Salt and grit left on a winter pavement doesn't wait for a dog to notice it's uncomfortable — by the time paws are cracked or sore, the walk that caused it is already over.

Pawz boots are made from natural rubber, sold in packs of 12, and go on without any zips or straps — the elastic rubber itself does the fitting. They're colour-coded by size, are non-slip, and because they're thin rather than padded, a dog can still feel the ground and use its paw fully rather than walking flat-footed.
