A good bed lets your pet stretch out and curl up. Measure your pet nose-to-tail while they’re lying down, then add room to move.

How to measure

Measure your pet from nose to base of tail while lying relaxed.
Add roughly 15–25 cm so they can stretch out fully.
For pets that like to curl, you can size down slightly for a snug, den-like feel.

Full description

This is the 91cm version, and the shorter bed actually sits higher — 20cm off the ground rather than 18cm — which means a little more air moving underneath. That gap is the whole point of an elevated bed: a dog loses heat through its belly and paws, and a taut mesh sling with a breeze passing under it does more for an overheating dog than any amount of cushioning.

The canopy is water- and UV-resistant, giving shade on a hot day and cover in a shower, which is what lets the bed live outside on a patio rather than being carried in and out. The steel frame takes a large dog without flexing, the mesh unclips for washing, and it packs into the supplied bag for camping, the beach or a caravan.

Which size to choose. The 60cm body-length limit here is the number that matters, not the weight — measure along the spine while your dog is standing. If they are longer than 60cm, take the 106cm version instead; a dog whose back end hangs off the mesh will simply stop using it.
