Dogs shed heat through their paws and belly, and the fastest way to cool one down is to get air moving underneath. Check the length, not just the weight. The 65cm limit is body length, and it is the measurement that catches people out — a lean 30kg dog can be considerably longer than 65cm and will hang off the end. Measure along the spine while they are standing.
