A treat built around one meat at a high percentage is usually a simpler, more concentrated recipe than one splitting the protein across several sources, and the shorter the list behind it, the easier it is to know exactly what a dog is getting.

The composition here is short — Chicken 80%, Sweet Potato, Minerals — with no filler ingredient bulking it out, and no cereal or grain of any kind on the list. Protein comes out at 56.9%, which is high even by the standards of a meaty dog treat, with fat at 20.1%.

• Composition: Chicken 80%, Sweet Potato, Minerals
• Protein 56.9%, Fat 20.1%
• Fibre 0.9%, Ash 5.9%, Moisture 16.2%
• Grain free and gluten free
• 1KG bag

On the short ingredient list. Chicken, sweet potato and minerals is all that's on the composition — there's very little here beyond the meat and one vegetable if your dog needs variety in a treat rotation, and no indication of what form the sweet potato takes or how the two are combined beyond the percentages given.

Who it's for: owners wanting a single-protein, grain-free treat with a short ingredient list, for a dog that tolerates chicken well.
