Full description

A strip breaks along its own length rather than needing to be cut, which is a small practical thing that matters when you're loading an enrichment toy or breaking a treat down mid-walk without a knife to hand.

This is 100% lamb, dried to a moisture content of 5.7%, with nothing else in it. Analysis comes out at 38.2% protein and 35% fat, both concentrated by drying rather than added, and Paddock Farm suggest using it as a training treat as well as toy filling.

100% lamb, single ingredient
Crude protein 38.2%, crude oils and fats 35%, crude ash 19.08%, moisture 5.7%
Easy to break up by hand, for training or enrichment toys
500G pack

One thing worth knowing. At 35% fat this is a rich treat rather than a light one, so it's worth breaking into smaller pieces than the full strip if you're using it frequently through the day, and colour can vary batch to batch as it's a natural product with nothing added to standardise it.

Who it's for: owners doing regular training or using enrichment toys who want a single-ingredient treat they can break down by hand, and anyone looking for a lamb-only option for a dog sensitive to other meats.

Why we chose it

One ingredient and a shape you can break down by hand without any tools makes this genuinely more practical for training or toy-stuffing than a treat that comes in fixed pieces. It's a rich treat, so a little goes further than the size suggests, which matters for the calorie count over a long training session.
