Portioning raw food by hand is the part most owners give up on first, so nuggets that are already sized and simply counted out of the freezer solve the actual friction point in feeding raw rather than the theoretical one about diet quality.

Nutriment's beef nuggets are 86% beef — muscle meat, tripe, kidney, lung, heart, liver and fat — with pumpkin, chicory, broccoli, apple, algae oil and minerals making up the remaining 14%, which the label itself summarises as "86% Fresh Meat and Offal / 14% Vegetables and Superfoods / 0% Grain or filler". Vitamins and minerals are added per kilogram, including vitamin A at 4,000 IU, vitamin D3 at 400 IU and vitamin E at 133mg.

• 86% beef (muscle meat, tripe, kidney, lung, heart, liver, fat)
• 0% grain or filler
• Protein 13.4%, fat 11.1%, crude fibre 0.7%, crude ash 2.8%, moisture 70.2%
• Includes pumpkin, chicory, broccoli and apple
• Vitamin and mineral premix added per kg
• 1KG pack, frozen

One thing worth knowing. This is a raw, frozen product — it needs to stay frozen until use and be defrosted before feeding, and as with any raw diet, hygienic handling around storage and thawing matters more than it does with a dry kibble. Nutriment's own instruction is simply to remove from the freezer, count the nuggets, defrost and serve.

Who it's for: owners already feeding, or moving towards, a raw diet who want a single-protein beef option with the portioning done for them rather than a whole cut to weigh and divide themselves.
