Full description

A two-meat raw formula should make the balance between those meats obvious. Rabbit and turkey are equal here, each accounting for the same declared share of the recipe.

Nutriment Adult Dog Raw Rabbit & Turkey Formula Frozen is complete frozen raw food. Whole rabbit with bone and its own offal is 40%, and turkey with bone is 40%. The other 20% is vegetables and superfoods, including squash, broccoli, kale, blueberry, seeds, salmon oil, wheatgerm oil, chicory and spirulina. The composition declares 0% grain or filler. A separate bone percentage is not stated. On an as-fed basis, moisture is 67.80%, protein 14.40%, fat 7.20%, ash 6.10% and fibre 0.90%.

The additives entry is unusable. It is a broken marketing fragment rather than a label declaration, so this page makes no additive or preservative claim. Salmon oil is included despite rabbit and turkey leading the name. Nutriment’s guide is 2-3% of ideal body weight per day, ideally split over two meals and adjusted to maintain weight. Keep frozen, defrost fully in the refrigerator and use within 3-4 days.

Who it's for: dogs across life stages whose owners want a complete, equal-part rabbit-and-turkey raw formula and can manage frozen storage and refrigerated defrosting.

Why we chose it

The equal 40% rabbit and 40% turkey split is the one thing that decides this recipe. I chose it because that balance and its complete status are clear even though the additives entry is not usable.
