Lamb is naturally the fattiest of the common treat meats, and freeze-drying concentrates that rather than trimming it away.

It's 90% lamb, freeze-dried alongside sweet potato (6%) and blueberry (2.25%), with small herbal additions — nettle (0.025%), rosehip (0.025%), parsley (0.025%), chamomile (0.05%) and lemon balm (0.025%) — and a trace of beet pulp (0.075%) and minerals (0.05%). Nutriment freeze-dry rather than cook the lamb, so the process concentrates what was already in the meat instead of changing it, which is why the fat figure here reads so much higher than a fresh cut of the same lamb would.

On fat content. At 63% fat, this is by far the richest of Nutriment's freeze-dried treats on this card — treat it as an occasional high-value reward rather than a daily one, especially for a dog on a weight-managed diet.

Who it's for: owners of lean, active dogs wanting a high-value lamb treat, not dogs on a fat-restricted diet.
