Full description

Rabbit recipes often leave owners wondering whether the named meat is a token addition. There is little ambiguity here: whole rabbit with bone and its own offal makes up most of the formula.

Nutriment Adult Dog Raw Rabbit Formula Frozen is complete frozen raw food. Whole rabbit with bone and its own offal accounts for 80%. Vegetables and superfoods supply the remaining 20%, including squash, broccoli, kale, blueberry, seeds, salmon oil, wheatgerm oil, chicory and spirulina. The composition declares 0% grain or filler. A separate bone percentage is not stated. On an as-fed basis, moisture is 67.9%, protein 14.9%, fat 5.9%, ash 6.1% and fibre 0.5%.

Rabbit is not the sole animal-derived ingredient. Salmon oil appears within the vegetable-and-superfood blend. No separate bone percentage is stated, although whole rabbit with bone is declared in the composition. Nutriment’s guide is 2-3% of ideal body weight per day, ideally split over two meals and adjusted to maintain weight. Keep frozen, defrost fully in the refrigerator and use within 3-4 days.

Who it's for: dogs across life stages whose owners want a complete rabbit-led raw formula, have checked the salmon oil and can keep the pack frozen until fridge defrosting.

Why we chose it

Whole rabbit at 80% is an unusually direct recipe statement. I chose it because the named meat dominates while the salmon oil and missing standalone bone figure can still be stated plainly.
