Dogs do not ration themselves, and once a big bag is open most owners stop rationing too. A chew that would have been a Sunday thing becomes a daily thing simply because it is in the cupboard at eye level. That is worth thinking about before you buy any chew by the kilo, and this is a kilo.

A trachea is windpipe, and this is exactly that and nothing else: NAW give the composition as 100% buffalo, dried with no further processing, so there is no glue holding it together, no smoke flavouring and nothing in it that could be gluten. The analysis is protein 55%, fat 18%, fibre 6%, moisture 8% and ash 0.5%. NAW's own point about the shape is that a ring of cartilage gives a dog an abrasive edge to work against, which is why trachea sits in the dental end of the chew shelf. It is cleared for dogs over 4 months of age.
