Beef mince sits at the richer end of raw feeding, carrying more fat than the leaner chicken option, which makes it a useful thing to have as one part of a mixed raw plate rather than a food fed on repeat by itself.

This is Nature's Menu's Freeflow Beef Mince: 100% beef, nothing else added, in their loose Freeflow format that lets you portion it rather than defrost a solid block. On its own it carries 17% protein, 18% fat, 1% ash, 0.5% fibre and 63% moisture, at 232 kcal per 100g — noticeably higher in fat and calories than their chicken mince at the same weight.

• 2kg pack, 100% beef mince
• Protein 17%, fat 18%, crude ash 1%, crude fibre 0.5%, moisture 63%
• Energy 232 kcal/100g
• Freeflow format for portioning rather than defrosting a solid block
• No additives

One thing worth knowing. At 18% fat this is considerably richer than a lean chicken mince, so it's worth introducing gradually to a dog that isn't used to a fattier meat, and it's positioned as part of a home-prepared meal alongside other ingredients rather than a stand-alone complete diet.

Who it's for: owners already raw feeding who want to add beef into the rotation alongside a leaner protein, or use it as the richer component of a mixed raw plate.
