Full description

A fish recipe is much easier to compare when 'fish' is broken into species and percentages. This bag does that for its main ingredients: white fish leads, with salmon providing the other substantial share.

The verified composition states 50% white fish and 30% salmon. Both the current panel and maker description also name carrot, peas, spinach, pea fibre, minerals, yeast products, yucca and green tea. The food is complete; its analysis gives 13% protein, 10% fat, 3% ash, 1% fibre and 69% moisture. The description states chicken free and no grain.

Chicken free and no grain stated

The minor ingredients need checking: the older description and current composition disagree on some fruit and vegetable details. The fish proportions and analysis are shown because they are verified; disputed supporting ingredients have not been turned into buying claims.

Who it's for: raw-fed dogs whose owners want a complete fish-led recipe with the supplied chicken-free and no-grain description.
