Full description

Chicken and salmon share the name, but the label gives them different jobs. Chicken supplies half of the recipe and salmon supplies nearly a third, making the balance visible rather than leaving 'with salmon' undefined.

The composition declares 50% chicken and 30% salmon. Raspberries, swede and carrots are each 4%, peas 3% and spinach 1%, followed by pea fibre, minerals, yeast products, yucca and green tea. This is complete frozen dog food with 13% protein, 11% fat and 163 kcal/100 g; the description states no grain. The bag is 1KG.

1KG frozen nugget bag
Chicken 50% and salmon 30%
Complete dog food
Protein 13% and fat 11%
Energy 163 kcal/100 g
Approximately 58 nuggets per pack

The nugget count is only approximate. It helps describe what is in the 1KG bag, but no daily number is supplied for an individual dog. Feeding still needs to follow the pack rather than using 58 as the basis for home-made arithmetic.

Who it's for: raw-fed dogs whose owners want a complete chicken-and-salmon recipe with a substantial declared fish proportion.

Why we chose it

Salmon at 30% is more informative than a token 'with salmon' claim. Combined with 50% chicken and a full analysis, it gives shoppers enough detail to compare this recipe honestly against the fish-led and poultry-led bags.
