Winter paws need three things: the mud off, the grit and salt off, and something on the pads so they do not crack. The no-rinse paw cleaner is the one for the back door, worked into the paw and towelled off with no bowl of water. The paw wipes live in the car and the coat pocket for the walk that ends somewhere else. The oatmeal nose and paw balm goes on dry pads and a chapped nose after the clean, when the skin is soft enough to take it.
The honest bit: none of this is a substitute for checking between the toes. Road grit and ice balls collect there, and a dog that keeps licking one paw after a walk usually has something stuck rather than sore skin. Rinse, look, then balm. A pad that is bleeding or cracked deep needs a vet, not a tin.
All three are gentle enough for daily use through the winter and safe if licked, as pet balms are meant to be.

Common questions
Do I need to rinse the paw cleaner off?
No. Work the foam into the paw, including between the toes, then towel it off. It is made to be left on, which is the point of it for a door-step clean on a dark evening.
Is the balm safe if my dog licks it?
Yes, it is made for exactly that. Put it on after the paws are clean and dry, ideally when the dog is settled, so most of it soaks in before the licking starts. A thin layer is enough.
How often should I use the balm in winter?
After any walk on gritted pavements or salted roads, and every few days otherwise. If the pads are already cracked, daily until they recover. If a crack is deep or bleeding, that is a vet visit rather than more balm.
