Specifications

Brand: Mr Johnson's
Food type: Complementary_or_treat

Full description

A hedgehog food built around poultry, rice and fish meal reads more like a description of cat food than anything marketed as wildlife feed, which is presumably the point — hedgehogs are opportunist eaters, not fussy ones.

Mr Johnson's Wild Life Hedgehog Food is a crunchy kibble containing poultry, rice and fish meal, sold in a 750G bag and described as a complementary food.

Worth flagging. This is filed under 'bird' in our system, which is another mislabel — it's a hedgehog food, and we've written this page for hedgehogs specifically.

Who it's for: gardens feeding hedgehogs who want a complementary kibble rather than a full daily diet on its own.

Why we chose it

It's a straightforward complementary kibble at a smaller pack size than some of the others we stock. That suits anyone testing whether hedgehogs are visiting before committing to a bigger bag.
