At 306 kcal per 100g these are not light, and 76.5 kcal for two sticks is a real dent in a small dog's daily allowance. The panel is 7.4% protein and 3% fat, and Misfits declare their sensory additives in milligrams, which almost nobody does: beef flavour at 3.3mg and chicken flavour at 5.9mg.

The label on the pack and the label the retailers print do not agree. Two different compositions circulate for Nasher Sticks, one listing maize flour at 29% and beef liver powder, the other listing wheat flour at 47.7% and no liver figure. They are probably different pack sizes or a reformulation. Read the sachet in your hand before assuming either.

Who it's for: medium dogs who want one long chew a day rather than a handful of biscuits.
