Full description

A biscuit named for peanut butter and banana can make those ingredients sound like the base. On this recipe, rye and oats lead, while the two headline flavours are present in matching smaller amounts.

Rye flour, oat flour and rolled oats appear first. Peanut butter and banana are each 4%, followed by sunflower oil, dried yeasts, flaxseed, rosehip, organic nettle and cinnamon at 0.5%. The 80G Breaktime Biscuits are complementary dry dog treats with a crunchy format. Analysis states 10% protein, 9% fat, 8% fibre and 1.5% ash, with energy at 328 kcal/100g. No life stage, daily quantity or biscuit count is stated in the supplied details.

These biscuits contain rye and oats. They are not grain free, and the 4% peanut butter does not make peanut the main ingredient. With no daily allowance provided here, use the pack instructions and count the biscuits as treats alongside the dog’s complete food.

Who it's for: dogs whose owners want a crunchy rye-and-oat biscuit with equal declared amounts of peanut butter and banana.

Lily's Kitchen Dog Breaktime Biscuits

Why we chose it

Equal 4% peanut butter and banana is the deciding fact because it puts the flavour promise into proportion. I chose these for the crunchy biscuit shelf while making the rye-and-oat base impossible to miss.
