Collars are sized by the neck girth — the measurement around the base of the neck where the collar will sit.
How to measure
- Wrap a soft tape around the base of the neck.
- Add room for two fingers between the tape and the neck.
- Use that measurement to pick a size whose range it falls within.

Full description
On a lit pavement a single collar light is enough. On a dark lane or a road with no path it is not, because a driver reads a lone light as a cyclist or a reflector, not as a dog on a lead with a person on the other end. Lighting the lead as well draws the line between the two of you. The 120cm nylon flashing lead runs the length of the lead, the nylon collar flashes or holds steady, and the clip-on blinker goes on the harness or coat so the dog is visible from behind.
The honest bit: these are coin-cell lights rather than USB rechargeable, so they are simpler and cheaper but you will change a battery a couple of times a winter. Keep spares. They are water resistant, not waterproof; a wet walk is fine, a swim is not.
Sizes are by the collar: Small/Medium to roughly 45cm, Medium/Large above that. The lead is one size.

Common questions
Will the lead clip to a harness?
Yes. It has a standard trigger clip that fits any D-ring on a harness or a collar. Most owners clip it to the harness and let the flashing collar do the visibility job on its own.
Which size collar do I need?
Small/Medium fits necks up to roughly 45cm; Medium/Large above that. If your dog is between sizes go for the larger, because the light needs to sit comfortably over the everyday collar rather than under it.
Can I wash them?
Wipe the nylon down with a damp cloth and let it dry away from a radiator. Do not put the lead or collar in the washing machine, because the light strip and battery housing are not built for it.
